6th Grade Retreat 2026

March 20–22

We are excited to invite our 6th grade students to join us for a weekend retreat designed to encourage spiritual growth, meaningful friendships, and fun in a safe, well-supervised environment.

Cost: $60 per student
The cost includes Bible study materials, lodging, all meals, and transportation.

Registration & Payment Deadline: February 22
Space is limited.

Overnight & Day-Only Options

  • 6th graders may attend the retreat overnight with the group.

  • For families who prefer not to have their child stay overnight, a day-only option is available. Parents will be responsible for daily drop-off and pick-up, and day students may participate in all scheduled activities.

Location

The retreat will be held at Hog Heaven Lake Rentals; Salt Springs, FL, a private retreat property located approximately two hours from Jacksonville. The property is surrounded by national forest land and is reserved exclusively for our group, providing a quiet and secure setting.

Our 6th graders will stay in a barn-style bunkhouse with indoor and outdoor restroom facilities separated by gender. Adult leaders will be present at all times to supervise kids and activities.

Activities & Environment

Throughout the weekend, our 6th graders will enjoy:

  • Small-group Bible studies and guided discussions

  • Outdoor recreation including kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, swimming, and  hiking

  • Group games, fellowship, and structured free time

  • Evening activities such as campfires and group meals

  • The property also includes a private dock, sandy beach area, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, picnic areas, and walking trails.

This retreat is a wonderful opportunity for our 6th graders to grow in their faith, build friendships, and experience a weekend away focused on fun, connection, and encouragement.
